Titania is the award-winning poet, writer & director behind social impact short films “My Sister”, "The Myth", and "a word" (also known as "Call it Covid"). She is a daughter of Vietnamese refugees, fueled by a background in mental health, social justice, and education. Her work can be described as a tender assault on human morality – storytelling in a way that challenges viewers to question their role in the realities they’re made witness to.
Her work transcends any one category, persisting at the intersection of education, entertainment, advertising, advocacy, and politics. Her grassroots films have garnered over $4 million in earned media across major publishers, including BBC News and NBA TNT globally; have been published in The New York Times and McGraw Hill; adopted by nonprofits including IRCO (The Immigrant & Refugee Community Organization); referenced by policy makers to inform social justice initiatives in Washington D.C.; and incorporated into the course curriculums of classrooms across America.
Her recent recognitions include AdAge's Creative of the Year, AdColor's Ad of the Year, and The One Screen Film Festival's Winner of Best in Craft - Screenplay.
